OrangeTree tells the story of a magical encounter between four musicians, their souls and their instruments. This work is conceived with the intent of crossing the borders between genres, where cultures and sounds can be seen as an immense emotional archive... music that reverberates the everlasting thoughts of the human being.
The amazing sounds of Oud (Arab Lute) and NyckelHarpa (Traditional Scandinavian Keyed Fiddle played by Belgian virtuoso Didier François) meet together in this unique project, with the help of Carlo La Manna's Fretless Bass and Emanuele Le Pera's Percussion Set.
The album features 9 original compositions (including a "bonus track" with double bass virtuoso Ares Tavolazzi) without borders between the genres of inspiration and experimentation:
from Arab toNordic Music from Ancient to Classical Music, from Jazz to Minimal and Rock Progressive.

Orangetree è la storia di un magico incontro tra quattro musicisti, la loro anima e i loro strumenti. E' un progetto di confine non identificabile in un genere e che concepisce culture e suoni come un immenso archivio emozionale...dove il suono riverbera i pensieri immortali dell'uomo.
Il progetto "Orangetree" si fonde sulla ricerca compositiva di un personale linguaggio musicale che Elias Nardi porta avanti da quasi dieci anni, nata dall'incontro tra i suoi studi musicali d'occidente (jazz e classici) e d'oriente (liuto arabo).
Gli elementi compositivi presenti nell'album abbracciano i generi più disparati, dal Progressive degli anni '70 alle atmosfere "Minimal", dal Jazz alla musica antica, tutto questo grazie al sostegno armonico, melodico e ritmico del Basso Fretless di Carlo La Manna e agli originali "colori" percussivi di Emanuele Le Pera.
Orangetree è un disco vero, vivo, dove c'è musica nella musica e musica nei silenzi.
